Trim, durable, and perfectly sized for muesli or sorbet, these Emile Henry Le Potier cereal bowls are virtually limitless in their usefulness. Crafted in Marcigny, France, at a factory founded in 1850, the bowls are high-fired from lead-free Burgundy clay with an incredibly durable surface treatment. They transition safely from the freezer to the oven and can also go in the broiler, microwave, and dishwasher. The glossy glaze is scratch-resistant and should not chip, crack, or craze under typical use. Formed with smooth sides, a banded rim, and a trim little foot, the bowls are a comfortable shape for drinking hot chocolate or spooning fresh peaches. Ideal for baking individual portions of lasagna and casserole, this 7-inch oblong dish is a traditional French shape and has an attractive ridged exterior that makes it welcome in country kitchens.
